Climate Change and Faster Evolution

In a study that has implications to the African origins of man and other mammals, scientist have discovered that evolution happens faster at warmer climates. The study by Auckland University helps explains the diversity of life found at the tropics. The study concludes that in warmer climates, metabolic activity is faster than colder climates, where energy conservation is more critical. It is this increased activity that results in an increase cell division, speeding the evolutionary process. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8115464.stm

Then,,I suppose that if one wishes to stop global warming,,they are opposing an increase in the evolutionary process.

That would make them 'anti-evolutionary',,wouldn't it?

And doesn't that also give reason to think glabol warming is NOT a big deal since it is now obvious that 'life' will evolve to fit it's climate better?
(altho I doubt we will see any NEW phylums,,the existing species will just vary according to environmental pressures and that does NOT help the MACRO believers cause)

Are those the same ones behind 'teaching' the young homo-sapiens they are only hairless primates so emulating their relatives is an acceptable thing to do?

I'm just curious,,,don't have a brit fit,brit.

This thread is not empirical in FINDINGS, it is an AGENDA BASED statement meant to reinforce the propaganda from the left that there is no God.

NYbrit has an educational level of a 7th grader, and half the wit of one.

He is a propagandist for the left, nothing more.

This is a lie and if it was said by someone claiming to be a scientist or anything else like a wmnd bs, then they are a liar as well...

There is no evidence or proof of evolution, it is a liberal atheist lie...

Ya mean kinda like the world being round? LMAO

Howdy there whiners!

Just think, only seven and one half more years to whine over something you can DO
nothing about! LMAO

All that whining yesterday, today and all night...and on and on today?...Well, Mister
Obama is still President and doing a good job of it. Such a shame your whining only
frustrates you...and nothing gets done to your satisfaction!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... poor cry babies. You lost, America won...

LMAO @ whiners! 7.5 more years, too hahahahh What a glorious day for us all; well, those
who won anyway!

Depends, while animals that live in warmer climate may be able to adapt quicker to climate change, colder climate animals may have a harder time and die out..

Harbin, all evolution is micro. Macro evolution is the business of gods and does not happen. AND no it would not make Climate Scientist 'anti-evolution' because there is no requirement for evolution to happen regardless of climate. Unfortunately many animals and plants will not adapt fast enough to climate change and it is speculated that 35% of all species could be extinct by 2050.

Oh and what is a 'brit fit'?

darn dude,,can't you keep your own dogma straight?

~Harbin, all evolution is micro. Macro evolution is the business of gods and does not happen.~

In the past you and I have had discussions in which you insisted that MACRO evolution was a fact and I insisted that the only 'evolution' provable was 'micro' and animal husbandry was proof of such being factual.(do you want me to go find the posts and show you?)

Now you say that there is NO phylum changing macro evolution?
Or,,are you disagreeing with 'the scientists' and saying there is no difference in the phylums and they are all one family?

How did a single cell specie 'evolve' into a multi-cell species, then?
Or a specie of fish produce an amphibian?
Or a reptilian specie turn into an avian specie?
Or a mammal evolve from a dinosaur?

~ AND no it would not make Climate Scientist 'anti-evolution' because there is no requirement for evolution to happen regardless of climate.~

No one mentioned evolution being a requirement except for the scientists who insist the phylum diversity was produced through the 'evolutionary' process.

AND isn't that equal logically to saying that someone is NOT anti-abortion because they want to close the for profit abortion clinics even though there is NO medical requirement for abortion to be committed?

I should have known that all I was going to get was your usual contradictory hooey.
Allthough,,I have to admit,,I am astounded that you now disagree with the idea of phylum chaging MACRO evolutionary dynamics and agree with the idea that the phylums are static.

Maybe there is some hope for you yet.

(btw,,Can you please explain to me why you changed your mind and now disbelieve in MACRO evolution being a fact?)

Oh,,yeah,,a brit fit is what you go into when your world view is challenged with logic apparently above your ability to process adequately without great effort. It usually takes the form of an intellectual descent into contradictory blathering that makes you look like you only repeat what you've heard and not producing the arguments on your own or simply saying whatever comes to your mind regardless of it's logical cohesion or truthfullness in order to simply disagree with your 'adversary'.

Like how you NOW disagree with MACRO evolution for instance.
